This special column will feature the musings of our master brewer, an expert ready to tell us about the subtleties and idiosyncrasies of beer.

Tullio Zangrando , who received a summa cum laude degree in Beer Technology in 1953, has been editor of the technical journal "Birra & Malto" since 1975 and has held important positions in several breweries. A consultant, lecturer and professor, Tullio Zangrado is also an ambassador for the Weihenstephan School and an honorary member of the AITBM (Italian Association of Beer and Malt Technicians).
